DUDLEY -- Burnice Manning Wade, 64, passed away Monday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Duplin County, the daughter of the late Luby and Mildred Dail Manning.

Mrs. Wade was a loving mother and grandmother, and was a licensed practical nurse, having worked for hospitals and nursing homes.

A memorial service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints of Goldsboro Thursday evening at 7 p.m. with bishop Brian Rouse officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the residence of Melissa Herring and Danny Mobley.

Mrs. Wade is survived by a son, Chad Wade and wife, Laura, of Park Hills, Mo.; two daughters, Melissa Herring and fiancé, Danny Mobley, and Denise Herring and husband, Brad, all of Dudley; sister, Frances Layton of Grantsville, Utah; six grandchildren; three nephews; and family friend, Bob Herring.
