SEVEN SPRINGS -- Horace Paul Anderson, 61, Seven Springs, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at his home.
Paul was born Nov. 21, 1949, in Lenoir County to Ida Grace Rollins Anderson of Goldsboro and the late Horace Carr Anderson.
Paul had worked as a truck driver and logger.
Paul enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, trucking, logging and cooking.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 5, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with pastor Eddie McKeel officiating. Interment will follow at Rollins Family Cemetery.
In addition to his mother, Paul is survived by his wife, Holly Smith Anderson; three children, Paula Renee Anderson Parks and husband, Michael Carlton Parks, of Mount Olive, Michael Joseph Anderson and wife, Betty Sue, of Seven Springs and Carrie Grace Anderson and fiance, Michael David Hunter, of Seven Springs; two stepchildren, Destine Smith and Karlea Hunt of Seven Springs; brother, Ernest Anderson of LaGrange; six grandchildren, Ashley, Brandi, Timothy, Bayley, Kenneth and Dylan; and two great-grandchildren, Anna Maria and Rimi.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, and at other times they will be at the home.
