PIKEVILLE -- Pauline Penuel Mitchell, 85, Old Kenly Road, died today Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Friday at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.
Visitation will follow the service. Burial will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mitchell Family Cemetery in Pikeville.
She was born Jan. 26, 1926, in Wayne County to the late Needham Henry and Sadie Evans Penuel. She was married to the late Eutice Orian Mitchell.
She is survived by a son.
