REV. R.N. WILLIFORD

Homegoing services for the Rev. R.N. Williford will be held Friday at 6 p.m. at United in Christ Church in Goldsboro, with Rev. Thomas McLendon and the Rev. Donald Daniels officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Burial will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Pate Family Cemetery.
The Rev. Williford was born May 11, 1924, to the late Ira and Pauline Young Williford.
He retired after 30 years of pastoring Churches of God in Lucama, Huntersville, Jacksonville, Patetown, West Wilson and Grantsboro.
He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted and loving pastor's wife, Mavis Pate Williford; two sons, the Rev. Ira and Shellie Williford of Goldsboro and the Rev. Richard and Debbie Williford of Fayetteville; two daughters, Vicki and Reed Aycock of Pikeville and Gale and the Rev. Flemon Ard of Virginia; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to United in Christ Church, 1314 Patetown Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
