She was born Sept. 23, 1956, to Rochell Johnson and Queen Hampton in Sumter, S.C.
She was married to Nicholas Carter.
She is survived by her children.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home chapel.
