Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, Jesus called home one of his little angels to suffer not, Baylen Chase Lancaster, 8 months old.

A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday evening, Feb. 8, 2011, at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro, with pastor Danny Johnson officiating. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Princeton.

Baylen was born June 6, 2010, in Durham County to Thomas Andrew Lancaster and Chanda Chase.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Anthony Lancaster and Cameron Jones; two sisters, Hailey Lancaster and Courtney Lancaster; his maternal grandmother, Angie Herring and husband, Bobby, of Goldsboro; maternal great-grandparents, Janet and Ervin Jones of Pikeville; paternal great-grandmother, Jennie Frances Taylor of Pikeville; and his uncles and aunts, Gene and Lynn Lancaster of Southport, Kenneth and Lisa Lancaster of Bath, John Lancaster of Smithfield, Sherwood and Christi Chase of Goldsboro and Tim and April Williams of Raleigh.

Baylen was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth Chase and Clovis E. and Mary F. Lancaster.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Chris Sittig and Judy Clark.

The family will receive friends immediately following the funeral at Howell Funeral Home, and other times at 108 Western Wayne Drive in Pikeville.
