NATHANIEL COX
Nathaniel Cox, 72, 221 Bunche Drive, Goldsboro, passed away suddenly on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Goldsboro Chapel F.W.B. Church, 1314 Ben Brewington Court, Goldsboro with pastor James E. Collins, officiating. Burial will be in the Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Cox was born on June 6, 1938, to the late John and Rosa Cox.
He attended Dillard High School and was employed with the Goldsboro Country Club for over 30 years until his retirement.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Angeline Rowe Cox and daughters, Monik (Rorrie) Lee of Somerset, Ky., Gigi Cox of Newport News, Va., and grandchildren, Erik and Cynteah of Kentucky. He is also survived by one brother, Charles (Rose) Cox of Baltimore, Md., and in-laws, Jean Cox of Fort Washington, Md., Nettie Rowe, Annie Woodom and Thelma (James) McLaurin, all of Goldsboro along with an aunt, several uncles,nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
Nathaniel was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Cox.
Visitation will be held on this afternoon from 2 until 6 with the family in attendance from 5 to 6 at Hamilton Funeral Home.
