NEWTON GROVE -- Doris Lee Jones, 82, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010.
Funeral service will be Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, at 7 p.m. at Newton Grove United Methodist Church. A graveside service will be held Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Scott Foster and Joyce Herring officiating.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Luanne Rose and husband, Mark Rose, of Newton Grove, N.C.; a son and daughter-in-law, Edwin Jones and wife, Jan, of Newton Grove, N.C.; grandchildren, Carson and Anna Rose and Meredith Jones; and brothers, John Kirk and George Lee of Benson, N.C., Julius Lee of Berryville, Va., and Ben Lee of Haymarket, Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ed Jones; parents, Manuel and Georgia Anna Lee; and brother, Clark Lee.
The family will receive friends following the funeral service at the church.
