Minister Mable Lee Ward Artis, 86, of 903 Poplar St., died Wednesday at her residence.
A service of remembrance for Mrs. Artis will be held at 2 p.m. today at Pentecostal Holy Church, 600 Pine St. Elder Willie Lewis will officiate. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, on Martin Luther King Drive. Viewing and visitation was held at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., Saturday from 4 until 7 p.m., with the family present from 6 until 7 p.m.
