Mamie Barnes, 91, 206 Shaw Court, died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Barnes Sr.
Ms. Barnes will be funeralized Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Greenleaf Christian Church, with the Rev. Dr. William Barber officiating. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in Wayne Memorial Park.
Precious memories are cherished by her sister, Thelma Best of Goldsboro; and two grandsons, Larry Barnes Jr. and Quinton Barnes of Goldsboro.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will assemble at the church Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. in preparation for the service.
