JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Bill Gurley, 80, born in Goldsboro, North Carolina, son of Allie and Glennie Gurley, entered eternal rest May 8, 2010, in Jacksonville, Fla.
Bill Gurley was a retired chief petty officer of the United States Navy and a postman for the United States Post Office.
He was a Mason, Shriner and member of the Keystone Cops.
A memorial service will be held 6-12 at 10 a.m. at Summerlin Family Cemetery, Ash Street.
Visitation will be 6-11 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the home of Eunice Howell, 234 Stoney Hill Road, Goldsboro, N.C.
