MOUNT OLIVE -- Timothy L. Murphey, 61, Rhodes Church community, died Monday at home.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Tyndall Funeral Home, with pastor Doug Bartlett and pastor Jeff Dail officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will have visitation at the funeral home Wednesday night, 6-8 p.m.
Mr. Murphey had served in the United States Navy.
He was employed with Carroll Grady Farms, and was a native of Sacramento, Calif.
His parents, Jewel Victor and Edith B. Murphey, and a son, Tony Murphey, are deceased.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra M. Murphey; three daughters, Brandy Lynn Murphey and Lisa Renae Murphey of the home and Jenny Alphin of Princeton; two grandchildren, Zachary Brooks and Dia Alphin; a brother, Randy Murphey of Mount Olive; and two sisters, Diana Grady of Mount Olive and Beth Randolph of Sacramento, Calif.
