MAGNOLIA -- Sarah Easley Ellis Powell, 84, died Monday at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Community Funeral Home chapel in Rose Hill. Burial will be in Devotional Gardens.
She was born in Smithfield, Va., Sept. 15, 1925, to the late Robert Benjamin and Rose Mae Warren Ellis. She was married to the late William Atlas Powell Sr.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter.
Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Community Funeral Home in Rose Hill.
