FREMONT -- Anna Belle Reeves Teacher, 87, East Main Street, went to sleep in the angels' arms, where they took her to her heavenly home Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held tonight at 7 from the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. The family will receive friends following the service. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Eureka Cemetery.

Mrs. Teacher was born in Greene County March 7, 1922, to the late Henry Reeves and Tinnie Ginn Reeves.

She was retired from Maida Development Co. in Hampton, Va., after 25 years of dedicated service, and was a member of Fremont Free Will Baptist Church in Fremont.

She is survived by her daughter, Annette Teacher Michalos of Hampton, Va.; a granddaughter, Robin Michalos Hare and husband, Lee, of Richmond, Va.; two great-grandchildren, Braxton and McKenzie Hare; a sister, Victoria Bass of Eureka; a sister-in-law, Essie Mae Reeves of Fremont; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Teacher was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton D. Teacher, and three brothers, Luther Reeves, Aubery Reeves and Albert Reeves.
