Linda Faye Barnes Gardner, 55, of Lucama, formerly of 770 Aurora Road in Eurnul, died Friday.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. The Rev. Tony Hawley will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service Tuesday and at other times at 7118 Wiggins Mill Road.
Mrs. Gardner is survived by her husband, Ralph W. Gardner; one daughter, Christy Gardner of New Bern; one son, Dennis Gardner of Atlanta, Ga.; one granddaughter, Brittany Faye Nobles on New Bern; one grandson, Gabriel Wayne Gardner of Atlanta, Ga.; one sister, Jean Tomlinson of Wilson; two brothers, Marion Barnes Jr. of Pikeville and John Luther Barnes of Wilson; a special friend, Stormy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Barnes and Dorothy Pearce Barnes and a brother, Charles Ray Barnes.
