Hubert Evans, 91, of 1288 Vail Road, died Thursday at Wilson Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held today at 3 p.m. at Pikeville Cemetery. Funeral services were held Saturday at 7 p.m. at the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. The family received friends following the service. Mr. Evans was a native of Wayne County, born to the late John Richard Evans and Martha Pittman Evans.
He is survived by one son.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Pope Evans and one daughter.
