BENSON -- William Dalton Wood, 91, of Benson, formerly of Raleigh, died Saturday at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Rose & Grantham Funeral Home in Benson. The Rev. Hubert Morgan will officiate. Burial will be in the Bailey City Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
He is survived by a daughter, six sisters, a brother, and three grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Ernesdeen Blackmon at 1883 Bailey Road in Coats.
