CLYDE W. FULLER

Clyde Wooten Fuller, 80, died Thursday at Duke Raleigh Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Providence United Methodist Church with the Rev. Vernon Brown officiating. Family members will remain after the service to greet friends in the church parlor.

Born in Edgecombe County, he was the son of the late Joseph Riddick Fuller and the late Lorena Best Fuller. Clyde was retired from the U.S. Army, having served three tours in Vietnam. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of Providence United Methodist Church. Clyde, a talented musician, enjoyed playing music with his friends on Monday nights.

Clyde is survived by two daughters, Connie F. McCollum of Knightdale, Amy F. Moon of Raleigh; one brother, Silas D. Fuller of Rocky Mount; one sister, Myrtle Jenkins of Richmond, Va.; four grandchildren, Kevin and Kaitlyn McCollum and Jessica and Erin Connors.

The family requests that memorial gifts be directed to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 112 Patrick St., Goldsboro, NC 27530.
