LAGRANGE Linwood "Earl" Rowe, 64, 1157 LaGrange Road, died Friday at his home.
The funeral service will be held at noon Wedenesday at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Goldsboro, with pastor Donovan Washington officiating. Burial will follow at Old Mill Cemetery in Goldsboro.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie Rowe, of the home; two daughters, Velma Williams and Crystal Jones, both of Goldsboro; six sons, Linwood Rowe Jr. of Fayetteville, George Koonce and Anya Dawson, both of LaGrange, Freddie Koonce of Atsugi, Japan, Rodney Rowe of Temple, Texas, and Mario Carmichael of Goldsboro; six brothers, John Ellis of Goldsboro, James Rowe of Colorado Springs, Colo., Douglas Rowe of Parkstown, Anthony Rowe of Atlanta, Ga., Alfred Rowe of Hope Mills and Byron Rowe of Orange Park, Fla.; seven sisters, Doris Best and Nina Dawson, both of LaGrange, Soundra Parks, Glenda Farrel, Darlene Parks and Maxine Bartholomew, all of Parkstown, and Brenda Gelinas of Montreal, Canada.
A wake will be held tonight from 6 to 8 at Mount Zion Seventh Day Adventist Church in Parkstown.
