MAMIE G. BUNDY

Mamie G. Bundy, 93, passed away Saturday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by her funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. The Revs. David Brindle and Steven C. Baines will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Bundy was born in Wayne County on May 12, 1916. She had worked as a buyer for Weil's Department Store for more than 22 years. Mrs. Bundy was a member of Goldsboro Friends Meeting.

Mrs. Bundy is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Jane Baines and husband, James, of Charleston, S.C. She is also survived by her grandsons, James Michael Baines and wife, Jacqueline, of Charleston S.C., and Steven C Baines of Washington D.C.; great-granddaughter, Chantelle Stinson and husband, Brandon; great-great grandchildren, Victoria and Michael Stinson of Oak Grove, Ky. Mamie is also survived by her sister, Alma Wilkins and Durrell Ward of Princeton and three nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Bundy; and her mother, Sudie Gurley Monroe.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of the Sixth Floor at Wayne Memorial Hospital for the care given to Mamie and her family.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Goldsboro Friends Meeting, 1800 Salem Church Road, Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.
