JESSE L. HUGHES JR.
The funeral service for Jesse Leonard Hughes Jr. will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at God's House of Prayer, 716 Elm St. in Goldsboro, with Bishop Donald Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Goldsboro.
He was born in Memphis, Tenn., and spent much of his adult life as a plumber.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Mamie Holmes Hughes, and a brother, Herbert Hughes of Florida.
A viewing will be held today from 2 to 7 p.m., with the family present at 6 p.m.
Arrangements are being handled by Lightner Memorial Funeral Home.
