JEAN T. ROGERS

LAGRANGE -- Jean T. Rogers, 80, passed away Monday.
A service of remembrance will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ronnie Hobgood officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Jean was wife of the late Larry L. Rogers Sr. and was a member of LaGrange First Free Will Baptist Church.
She last worked with the LaGrange Piggly Wiggly.
Mrs. Rogers is survived by her son, Larry L. Rogers Jr. and wife, Edna, of LaGrange; two grandchildren, Larry L. Rogers III and wife, Holli, of Raleigh and Hailey R. Hamalainen and husband, Eric, of Raleigh; three brothers, Ernest Thomas and wife, Joyce, of LaGrange, Robert Thomas and wife, Lorrie ,of Kinston and Bruton Taylor and wife, Rose, of California; four sisters, Edna Dawson and husband, Vance, of LaGrange, Joyce Daniels and husband, Lonnie, of New Bern, Ruth Heath and husband, J.C., of Snow Hill and Gail Cramer and husband, Ray, of Fairfax, Va.; along with a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends beginning one hour before the service and at other times they will be at the home.
