Johnnie J. Washington, 84, died Friday at his home.
A memorial service will be conducted at Faith Presby-terian Church, 2114 N. Berkeley Blvd., Goldsboro, at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late William and Marzella Washington.
Mr. Washington was a life-long brick mason for 40 plus years.
Mr. Washington is survived by his wife, Julia P. Washington; daughters, Regina Mason (Leroy) of Goldsboro, Teresa Ferrell (Reginald) of Pineville, S.C., and Benita Parker (Clarence) of Charlotte; a son, William C. Washington of Goldsboro; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mr. Washington was preceded in death by his parents; three siblings; and daughter, Malena Ayres Washington.
