BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Samuel Burgess, 71, formerly of Duplin County, died Sunday at Lutheran Hospital.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday from Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Rose Hill, with the Rev. Quincy Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery, N.C. 903 in Magnolia.
He is survived by a daughter.
Visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at Rose Hill Funeral Home.
