Betty Mac Faulk, 73, died Monday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Raleigh Memorial Park, with Dr. Harvey Whaley officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the graveside.

Formerly of Garner, she was born in Robeson County to the late Alva S. and Emma Hall Faulk and was the sister of the late James V. "Jimmy" Faulk.

She was a graduate of Peace College in Raleigh, was a member of Aversboro Baptist Church in Garner and retired from the North Carolina Department of Revenue after 30 years of service.

Betty is survived by her brother, Alva S. Faulk Jr. of Mount Olive; a niece, Suzanne Faulk Brown and husband, Gary, of Mount Olive; two nephews, Ven Faulk and wife, Ashley, of Dudley and Philip Faulk and wife, Kelly, of Dudley.
