LAGRANGE -- Dora Barfield died Tuesday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Carter and the Rev. Ransome Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Barfield was born on May 1, 1932, in Lenoir County to the late Canary and Ransome Carter.
Mrs. Barfield is survived by her husband of 62 years, John D. Barfield Sr., and four children.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Friday at Rouse Funeral Home, and at other times they will be at the home.
Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home of LaGrange.
