Jacob Williams helped account for Princeton's two points in a 7-2, non-conference loss to county rival North Johnston on Tuesday afternoon.
A sophomore, Williams defeated the Panthers' Trey Motley 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles. He and No. 1 doubles mate Alan Farrior knocked off Motley-Ian Walston 10-8.
"Our team is in its second year," PHS head coach Christy Klein said. "We have 12 young men, only one (Williams) which has played competitive tennis before. There are no juniors or seniors on this team. Over half the players are just learning to play."
