Goldsboro slips past Princeton on soccer pitch

PRINCETON -- Makayla Roberts notched a goal and an assist to power Goldsboro past Princeton, 4-3, in a non-conference affair contested on the Harvey Brooks Field pitch Tuesday evening.
Ivey Wade, Shakia Doctor and Taironnicia Davis tallied one goal apiece.
The Cougars (2-0-0 overall) entertain Eastern Wayne on Friday.
