Carroll, Ricks pace Bulldogs past Hobbton

PRINCETON -- Taylor Carroll and Emily Ricks combined for 16 kills to lead Princeton past Hobbton 25-15, 25-18, 25-10 in the first round of the Carolina 1-A Conference tournament on Monday.
Charley Cox had 24 assists for the Bulldogs. Hailey Wood had five blocks.
Princeton will Spring Creek today at 5 p.m. at James Kenan.
