Lindsay Burton carded a 1-under 35 and earned medalist honors during Rosewood's regular-season finale at Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course on Monday afternoon.
The Eagles took first place with a 158, followed by Wayne School of Engineering (180) and Southern Wayne (185).
Burton, a junior, saved par on hole No. 4 after a bad tee shot. She also recovered from a bogey on No. 9 after her par putt lipped out of the cup.
"(Lindsay) just had an outstanding round today," RHS coach Shay Campbell said. "Towards the end of the season I have seen her scores continue to get lower and lower. I hope the scores continue to drop as she heads into the 1A/2A eastern regionals at Walnut Creek."
The regional is Oct. 20 with a tee time of 8:30 a.m.
