Leon Darden, 77, Mount Olive, died Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Saturday at noon at New Saint Delight United Holiness Church Ministries, with Bishop Quincy Gardner Jr. and pastor Scottie Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. He will lie in state from 11 a.m. until the start of the funeral.
He is survived by his wife and children.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 6 p.m. at Bishop Lonnie E. Holloway Sr. Memorial chapel.
Arrangements are by Smith-Holloway Memorial Funeral Services LLC.
