Carl "Rawhide" Thomas Brock, 71, Fountain, died Friday at home.
Graveside service with military honors will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, the family will receive friends following the service.
He was born Jan. 17, 1947, in Pitt County to the late Otis and Sadie Morgan Brock. He was married to Joan Sanderson Brock.
He is survived by four children.
Arrangements are by Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
