CAROLYN LUCILLE MOYE BATTEN

Carolyn Lucille Moye Batten, 78, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
Lucille was born oct. 31, 1939, in Greene County to the late Leslie Moye and Esther Baldree Moye. She was married to the late Bim Batten.
Lucille was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family.
The family will receive friends Sunday, July 29, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service to celebrate Lucille’s life at 3 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Bill Rose officiating. Interment will follow in Stantonsburg Cemetery.
Lucille is survived by her daughters, Denise Prince and husband, Butch, of Goldsboro and Carolyn Graham, of Princeton; son, Odell Graham III and wife, Linda, of Asheboro; sister, Peggy Flowers, of Goldsboro; brothers, Ray Moye, of Wilson and Rollin Moye, of Burlington; grandchildren, Crystal Prince Ostheim and friend, Jeremy Cecil, Taylor Prince and fiancée, Myles Potter, Richard Bass, Zachary Graham, Nicholas Graham and wife, Molly and Emily Soto and husband, Joshua; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Lucille was preceded in death by a grandson, Garrett Ostheim; sisters, Carrie Carraway, Kathleen Rowe and Edna Mooring; and brothers, Carl Moye, Linwood Moye and Harvey Lee Moye.
The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to Wayne County EMS, UNC Healthcare, seventh floor nursing staff, Nurse Practitioner, Carmelia Carroll, Kitty Askins Hospice Center and to her sister, Peggy Flowers.
