Deloris "Lois" Rice-Phillips, 85, Dumfries, Va., formally of Duplin County, died Wednesday at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, Woodbridge, Va.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Big Zion African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, with the Rev. Jeffery Whitehead officiating. Burial will be in Middleton Cemetery.
She was born in Wilmington to the late James and Mittie Miller Rice.
She is survived by three children.
Visitation will be an hour prior to funeral at the church.
Arrangements are by Garris Funeral Home.
