Mother Pecolia Maxine Hopkins-Johnson, 67, 1819D Butterfield Lane, Wilson, died Saturday at Wilmed Hospital.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at L.N. Forbes Tabernacle, with pastor Calvin Williams as eulogist and elder SaQuan Smith presiding. Burial will be in Artis Family Cemetery of Greene County.
She was born Sept. 23, 1949, in Wilson, to Luke A. and Mary B. Forbes Hopkins.
She is survived by a daughter.
Visitation Friday from 6 to 9 p.m., with the family present 7 to 9, at L.N. Forbes Tabernacle. The family will receive friends at 1713 Vineyard Drive, Apt 2, Wilson, where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are by Haskins Funeral Home.
