Thelma Ellis, 80, 114 Marshall Drive, Dudley, died Monday at home.
Funeral will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Eastern Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in First Congregational Church Cemetery.
She was born Aug. 5, 1935, in Beaufort County to James and Marjorie Jordan Purdie.
She is survived by seven children.
Visitation Saturday 3 to 6 p.m., with the family present 5 to 6, at Haskins Funeral Home. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home, where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
