George Emmons Vann, 96, died Friday at the North Carolina State Veterans Home in Fayetteville.
Funeral will be Thursday at noon at First Baptist Church of Magnolia, with the Rev. Tony Harrington officiating. Burial will be at Little Mission Cemetery in Magnolia.
He is survived by a son.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home.
