Sherry Hooper Chadwick, 76, Goldsboro, passed away Wednesday at Carteret General Hospital.

Sherry was born in Texas March 11, 1938, to the late Elbert E. Hooper and Irene Williams Hooper. She was married to the late Jesse Owen Chadwick.

Sherry was a brush stroke instructor with Duncan Enterprises, where they called her their "ambassador."

For many years, she taught ceramics, and would share her ceramics with others.

Sherry was a member of Cape Carteret Baptist Church and a former member of Adamsville Baptist Church.

A service celebrating Sherry's life will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Adamsville Baptist Church, with Gary Chadwick officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

Sherry is survived by her sons, Ronald Chadwick and wife, Belinda, of Searsmont, Maine, Keith Chadwick of Swansboro and Gary Chadwick and wife, Tina, of Gainesville, Fla.; her brother, Gerald Hooper of Humble, Texas; and her sister, Elaine F. Henderson of Tomball, Texas.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christina Chadwick Rouhani and husband, Justin, Ronald L. Chadwick and wife, Emily, Crystal M. Chadwick, Nicholas Chadwick, Calab Chadwick, Arianna Sifontes-Ospino and husband, Jose, Brenna L. Chadwick and Brian Chadwick; and her great-grandchildren, Owen Guadalupe Chadwick and Jaxson Chadwick.

Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to the House of Hope USA, 2912 N.W. 104th Court, Unit 4, Gainesville, Fla., 32606.
