Warren Landis Davis, 55, passed away Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro, with visitation immediately afterward.
He was born in Wayne County Feb. 23, 1959.
He was a member of Yelverton United Methodist Church in Faro.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jones Davis; his father, Landis Davis of the Faro community; a son, Evan Andrew Davis and wife, Miranda, of Goldsboro; a stepson, Michael Hood and wife, April, of Dunn; a brother, Dale Davis and wife, Kriquette, of Fremont; a sister, Wanda Cozart and husband, Banks, of Greenville; three grandchildren, Madison, Abbey and Matthew; and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Yelverton Davis, and stepmother, Janet Davis.
