Mildred E. Breeden, 81, 1615 Ball St., Goldsboro, peacefully succumbed to the silent chambers of death Thursday at her residence.

She was born Dec. 23, 1933, to Nathaniel and Blanche Bryant Edmundson in Rose Hill, N.C.

In 1952, she was united in marriage to Fred Breeden Sr., and to this union six children were born.

In addition to her husband, Mildred was preceded in death by two children, Wilhelmina Breeden and Jimmy Edmundson, and siblings, Agnes Jones Whitley, Roberta Edmundson, Leroy Edmundson and Nathaniel Edmundson Jr.

There will now be a void in our hearts, but all the wonderful memories that we shared will help to ease the pain.
