John Wayne Taylor, 69, died Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with full military honors, with Johnny Millard officiating.
He was born in Wayne County to the late Wyatt Wayne and Olive Mooring Taylor.
He is survived by a son and a daughter.
Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
Arrangements are by Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
