Brian Kimbal "Kim" Webb, 77, Goldsboro, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.

Kim was born in Baltimore, Md., July 18, 1937, to the late Charles Edward Webb and Mary Agnes Roche Webb.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Kim was a graduate of McDonogh School in Baltimore, Md., and had attended the University of Maryland.

Kim lived a life of dedication to his family and friends, and to his community.

He worked as an insurance agent for many years, and in 1997, he became the owner and operator of Borden RV Insurance Agency.

Kim was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church in Mount Olive, N.C., with the Very Rev. James F. Garneau presiding.

The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the church.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Baltimore, Md., at McDonogh School.

Kim is survived by his wife, Nancy Jane Hamblet Webb; daughter, Pamela Madeleine Cunningham and husband, Dr. David Cunningham, of Goldsboro; sons, Bryan Kipling Webb of Baltimore, Md., Andrew Jay Webb of Northboro, Mass., Alexander Hamblet Webb of Jackson Hole, Wyo., and Michael Charles Webb of Jackson, Wyo.; and 12 grandchildren, Stephen Webb, Meghan Cunningham, Jessica Cunningham, Sarah Cunningham, Alexandria Webb, Bennett Webb, Konner Webb, Delaney Webb, Madeline Webb, Charles Webb, Olivia Webb and Lucy Webb.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C., 27834.
