Minister Alexander Smith, 78, resident of Harnett Convalescent Center in Lillington, died Sept. 10.
Funeral will be Friday at noon at Oak Grove AME Zion Church in Erwin. Burial will be in Riverside Community Cemetery in Erwin.
He was born April 20, 1936, to James C. and Godena Cameron Smith in Harnett County.
He is survived by 16 children.
Visitation is Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m., with the family present from 7 to 8, at Potters House Outreach Center. The family will assemble at 605 Warren St. in Erwin for the funeral procession.
