Grace Howell Farfour, 84, Goldsboro, passed away Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
Grace was born in Wayne County Aug. 1, 1930, to the late Bennie and Lillian Durham Howell. She was married to the late John Allen Farfour.
Grace will be remembered for her love of golf, the beach, shopping and walking.
She was a beautiful person whose loving spirit and ever present smile radiated the joy she experienced in living every day of her life.
Grace was deeply devoted to her family, and was happiest when she was spending time with them.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service celebrating Grace's life at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Grace is survived by her daughter, Lilli Wood and husband, Jeffery, of LaGrange; sons, Randy Farfour of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Allen Farfour and wife, Debra, of Greenville and Kenny Farfour and wife, Susan, of Greenville; sister, Renn Howell Whitaker of Goldsboro; brother, Bennie Howell Jr. of Goldsboro; two granddaughters; and a very special caregiver, Rita Houston.
