Barbara Davis Martin, 80, Beaufort, died Aug. 21, 2014, at CarolinaEast Medical Center in New Bern.
Barbara was born in Richmond, Va., July 27, 1934, to the late Robert Mayo Davis and the late Minnie McCluer Davis.
A service was held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Beaufort Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at 10 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery in Tarboro.
She is survived by her three children, Robert S. Martin of Virginia Beach, Va., Lynn M. Evans of Charlotte and John Davis Martin of Wilmington, and grandsons, David and Andrew Evans and Garrett and James Martin.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 215 Ann St., Beaufort, N.C., 28516; Beaufort Historical Association, 130 Turner St., Beaufort, N.C.; or Carteret County Humane Society, 853 Hibbs Road, Newport, N.C., 28570.
