JACK H. EDMONDS

Died May 3, 2014

Jack H. Edmonds 82, Goldsboro, peacefully left this earth to be with his Lord May 3 knowing he had lived a great and fulfilling life, loved by many whose lives he touch with his kindness and goodwill.

He was a man we can't seem to remember not having a smile on his face, a man who would always greet a stranger with a warm hello and offer an extended hand to help someone.

He was a proud United States Air Force serviceman of 24 years, who held his head high and always went out of his way to thank a retired or current service person for supporting our country.

He was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Margret Edmonds, for 64 years, and loved and cared for her with all his heart.

They both were longtime members of New Hope United Methodist Church.

He was a man who believed in working hard to provide for his family by continuing to work, after retiring from the Air Force, with AP Parts in Goldsboro for another 20 years.

He was a wonderful father, who unconditionally loved his three sons, Mark, Bryan and Glenn, more than anything, and strived to imbed his true, honest, Christian values onto them.

He was a man who became a grandfather and a great-grandfather, who could never get enough of spending time all his grandkids, who include Jenny Korengay, Emily Edmonds, Trevor Edmonds, Austin Korengay, Tylor Korengay and Taylor Edmonds.

He was a man who extended the same love to his expanding family, including Jean Edmonds, Donna Edmonds, Shannon Edmonds and Aaron Korengay.

He was a man who cared for so many others throughout his life, and who, without a doubt, will be remember and loved by more than he would ever imagine.

He was a man we say good-bye to, but who will live forever in our hearts.

No services are planned, but the family welcomes any condolences to be sent to the Edmonds Family, P.O. Box 442, Clayton, N.C., 27516

A special and sincere thank you goes out to the staff Countryside Village in Pikeville and Community Home Care and Hospice for its warm and caring service provided to Jack while he was in its care.
