Dallas Anderson "Andy" Lewis, 66, Goldsboro, passed away May 16, 2014, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by his family.
Andy was born in Wilson County, N.C., Jan. 26, 1948, to the late Clarence Franklin Lewis and Callie Anderson Lewis.
Andy is survived by his wife, Lyn Jeffreys Lewis of Goldsboro, and his daughters, Carolyn Lewis McGowan and husband, David, of Raleigh, Alison Lewis Nipper and husband, Rob, of Wilmington, Jennifer Lewis Brown and husband, Ryan, of Greensboro and Stefani Lewis Hungate of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
He is also survived by his brother, Clarence Franklin "Buddy" Lewis, Jr. and wife, Lynn, of Pensacola, Fla., and his grandchildren, Mary Jeffreys Nipper, Charlie Nipper, David McGowan, Anna McGowan and Kayla Hungate.
He is also survived by his father-in-law, James Jeffreys; sister-in-law, Gay Elmore; brothers-in-law, Jimmy Jeffreys and Taylor Jeffreys and wife, Sandy; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 19, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Jill Biemdiek officiating. A private family burial will follow at Willow Dale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at its home.
