ROBIN NOEL BRITT

Robin Noel Britt, Chapel Hill, died peacefully at home April 25, 2014.
She was born in Richmond, Va., July 14, 1951.
She lived in the Tidewater, Va., area before moving to North Carolina with her family in her late teens.
Robin graduated from Meredith College with an art degree.
She was married to Bob Britt for 32 years, and together they operated Merritt's Grill in Chapel Hill for the past 22 years.
Robin is survived by her husband, Bob Britt of the home; her parents, Sam and Frances Noel of Wilmington, N.C.; her sons, Robert and fiancee´, Emily Wipper of Boston, Mass., and Charles and wife, Megan, of Charlotte, N.C.; sisters, Tracy Sullivan and husband, Scott, of Wilmington, N.C., and Nancy May and husband, Russ, of Wilmington, N.C.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Harriett and Tony Carter of Wilmington, N.C.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Linda Britt of Chapel Hill.
There will be a celebration of life service Sunday, May 25, 2014, at 3 p.m. at Aqueduct Conference Center in Chapel Hill, N.C.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice or the University of North Carolina Hospice care.
