Gerda "Sue" Moneypenny died March 25, 2014, in Hillsborough, N.C., where services were held in April.
To accommodate out-of-state family, a celebration of Gerda's life is scheduled for Sunday, May 18, at 2 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Good Shepherd Music Program and sent to the church at 532 E. Country Day Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
