Sybil Malpass Lassiter, 74, Mount Olive, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral was Saturday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with her son, pastor Jimmy Lassiter, and pastor Frederick Dixon officiating. Burial was in Wayne Memorial Park.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late James Franklin "Jim" and Mabel Holloman Malpass. She was married to Malcolm "Mack" Lassiter.
She is survived by a son.
Visitation was an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
